740 miles... $145.00 in gas... $143.00 speeding ticket... 12 hours... 3 stops...$2.50 in tolls... We made it safely to Owensboro Kentucky last night at 8pm with a van full of my junk that will be stored in a shed for the year that I will be in Africa.
I want to give a special shout out to the Ohio County Police Department who out of concern for their citizens clocked me going 81 on a deserted highway and stopped me from becoming a menace to their society. It was a real close call... but in the end I really learned my lesson.

"The cops never bother me once I get out of DC."

boo... hiss...
famous last words.
Good, you damn hippies need to learn your lesson. "You deserve your lot. you smug little man."
Congrats on making it to KY.. wish i could say the same.. and the damn ohio police.. well they got us too last time.
Thank you for the kind words, sublimebabie... Trash is teasing me cause I was running my mouth in his backyard the other day. You def should visit KY when you get the time! It does the body good.
The law is the law.
You fought the law and the law won.
I've heard you spout this "law is law" stuff before bureaucrat... I find it odd, however, that I was rocking 81 in West Virginia and the state troopers were passing me on the right - but OCPD (smug little cops that they are) felt the need to slap me with a 5 dollar fine and 138 court costs - so even if I wanted to contest the ticket and I won --- I still have to pay. hmmm...
Sounds like the won. Perhaps, in addition to shooting the sheriff, you should have shot the deputy.
Kill that seed before it grows!
Anon - somebody left that "seed" in Prince of Petworths' neighborhood.
