"The ability to moderate comments as they are added to your blog can be very handy in certain situations. Perhaps you have very spirited discussions where tempers are prone to running a little high, or perhaps you just want to catch any comment spam before it reaches your page. Whatever your reasons, the comment moderation feature will let you view all comments before they appear on your blog, giving you a chance to approve or reject them as desired."
I understand word verification as an effort to keep the bots out (I don't have that problem because my traffic is so low) but comment moderation is anti-blogerian. Boo! to the moderation.

but what do you do when people post comments under your name?
Well it didn't work. But some guy is posting comments under my name hyperlinked which I thought I'd be able to replicate but he is more tech saavy than me I guess. Seriously, would you not moderate if people were posting racist things under your name?
Well... truth is PoP, these are not the problems of the masses, but of the well read. In other words, You apparently have pretty good site traffic. With that, comes hackers.
Since I haven't dealt with that, it hasn't been an issue I have had to deal with. So I can pop off at the keys all I like - until I actually have to do something.
I wouldn't moderate though... I would probably delete them.
In the end...
Imitation is the highest for of flattery.
form (damn, I always misspell when I'm trying to be profound)
Fair enough. T-shirts will be ready also in mid Sept. You are one of ten getting a free one! Will you be in Togo then or DC?
Wow, thanks. I am leaving 9.27 for Togo - Not sure if I will be in DC for the party though :(
Hopefully you can make it. If not, have a great trip. I look forward to reading about it.
