Moments from the Ghanaian/Togolese border lies a town called Badou - where the temperature drops by 30 some odd degrees! I couldn't believe I was freezing cold. I couldn't believe how green it was - how beautiful it is... I only wish the photos could capture the elegance. To spend this moment in time, we drove 11 hours the first day (scenic route haha) slept on the floor of an extremely hospitable PCV and then hiked up the side of a vicious mountain. Some say it was easy - I must be out of shape.
Some went swimming... I could only went ankle deep and walked away with a cold that I'm still fighting. Eh- Ca va allez!
