One of the highlights of our vacation was a two day Safari through a protected game reserve south of Dar. Safari in Swahili means trip - and it was one heck of a trip! And yes... I took these photos standing with my head stuck out of a safari roof of a Toyota Land Cruiser.
The Giraffes were everywhere - at one point I counted over sixteen. The buffalo laid in the mud in the front of the park all day - and to be honest, I thought there would be more zebra.
