"Togo’s constitutional court on Tuesday rejected opposition candidate Kofi Yamgnane’s eligibility to run for the Feb. 28 presidential election against incumbent Faure Gnassingbé, the son of General Gnassingbé Eyadéma who ran the country for 38 years. Yamgnane, who served as junior minister in France under former French President François Mitterrand and holds dual nationality, was rejected because of a mix-up over his precise date of birth."

Doesn't almost everyone from the Eyadema years have multiple birthdays?

Uh, when you have enough power and control to have the army close down the borders and force the President of the Parliment to land in a neighboring country and then have yourself delared as president because next in line is "out of the country," I am pretty sure you can make any situation turn out the way you want it to, no matter what the actual "facts" or "circumstances" are.
the "birthers" strike again?!
He he!! "Birthers...." That's funny. I think we should start a new group...called the "Conceivers." If you were conceived outisde of the country, then you are not eligible to run for President of the United States. After all it is that same group of people that claim "Life begins at Conception." If that is true...I love this can of worms!! Except, I can never run for president, doh! I wasn't conceived here :(
