"Brescia Alum Making a Difference"

It's been almost 10 years since I was last mentioned in the Brescia Broadcast - and never the cover! :)

This awesome article was written by Katie Long. Please note the awesome stickers on my laptop in the photo.

For the record. The English Language Fellow Program is sponsored by the United States Department of State (not d.o.e.), Togo was never a Portuguese Colony (but the Portuguese are credited with first exploring the region), this year I will be teaching exclusively at the University of Lome, approximately 50% of the country works in agriculture... for more information about the history of Togo, feel free to visit http://www.state.gov/r/pa/ei/bgn/5430.htm. Nonetheless... I am excited to have been featured in the Broadcast. Thanks for the big ups.

p.s. hey bart - sorry I missed you this round. catch you on the flip side.

Devilman

From 1996-1998 I ran a comic strip series in the Brescia Broadcast (a weekly university publication). The cartoon was about this little oddly shaped creature named Devilman who wasn't bad enough to be in hell, so Satan sent him to Brescia College (now Brescia University) to understand what hell should be like. An impotant note here is that Brescia is a Catholic University. Other characters included these really mean penguins and more "realistic" looking characters. The picture above is the finale to the series ran in May 1998. Thank you to my buddies Justin and Jack for saving and scanning this image for me. It brings back a trillion great memories.
