Peace Corps Togo recently created a travelling soccer team that I have renamed PC Uniited. This past weeked they invited me to come out to several villages in the south of Togo to play against the local village team. Sadly, we lost every game and my soccer skills are apparently worse than ever. :(
Nonetheless, villagers came out by the hundreds, there was dancing and food and half time provided an opportunity for Peace Corps to presen crucial inforamtion to the spectators about the importance of womens education in Togo.
