I Bring the Rain

Every other weekend I get a couple of days off which I use to get out of town. This past weekend, I took my Sanya 125 up the Route Nationale for a 200k round trip spin to Notse. Every time I leave Lome, I stop in a town called Tsevie for a soda at the same little place as an excuse to say hi to the nice lady that runs the restaurant. The tradition started a couple of months ago. I was on my first trip out of Lome when I noticed that it looked like rain. In the US, I wouldn't ride a moto in the rain - so I stopped at the first place that had covering and parking where I could see my bike. The lady was very nice and asked me to come back - so I did - and I have been for months now. On this past visit I stopped - she smiled and said in French, "You bring the rain." It's funny that she is right. Every time I stop at her place it has just rained, is raining or is about to rain. (Coincidentally it is the beginning of rainy season.)

So anyway, some folks were asking for a recent photo of me.
