Went for a walk last night. The sun doesn't set here until after nine - so our time has been off to say the least. I had to visit the Arc of Triumph, Champs Elysees and the Eiffel Tower. I knew that France had put those crazy Christmas lights on the tower that light up every hour, but the European Union circle of stars was new to me. I wonder what Mr. Eiffel would have to say about all that. And while I'm on that note - the Champs Elysees has two McDonalds, a GAP and every other chain store you can imagine. Very French indeed.
Nonetheless... Paris is still amazing.
