Today is day 2 of our 9 day trip to South Africa. We arrived yesterday morning at 7:15 after the COLDEST airplane ride of my life. Let me apologize here for not posting photos - it seems my cameras' memory stick is not adaptable to the laptop we brought. Anyway - we're in a neighborhood of Jo'Burg called Melville until christmas eve. SA is nothing like Togo or any other place I've been in Africa... it's almost like a European city with air conditioned shopping malls and new Mercedes taxis. The 24th we will board a train and travel 27 hours across the country to visit Capetown and such.
