Photo Emulsion006

As these things go in my life, we are waist deep in a photo emulsion project. The image you see here is one of the final, but most crucial steps in the photo emulsion/silk screening process. We are attempting to burn the image created on a computer onto a screen, much like images are burned onto film in photography. This particular image was created by my friend Vagelatos as a logo for t-shirts for her Race for the Cure team (who will race this Saturday). If this works... the mass produced silk screen product will be posters for the June fed shows! Ahhh.... but for now, I must go pack my bags because I am headed off to Hard Bargain Farm in Accokeek Maryland for a two day field study of the Chesapeake Watershed.
