Drop the CAN BAN Against Togo

On January 8, 2010, Togo’s national futbol team was on their way to an African National Cup match when there bus was attacked by gunmen of the armed wing of Angolan separatist group, the Forces for the Liberation of the State of Cabinda. Three members of the Toglese delegation died as the busses headed back to their home country. The team has subsequently been banned by the CAF from participating in the 2012 & 2014 CAF Cups for dropping out of this year’s tournament.
