American International School of Lome

For 10 weeks, beginning February 26, 2008, I spent two hours on Tuesday nights teaching a SAT English preparatory course to a group of international high school students who have dreams of attending a University in the United States. We worked on vocabulary, reading, essay writing and technology. The course was designed by myself along with our Fulbright Scholar Monique Maria Schmidt and the school's director Dr. Clover Afokpa and taught in two sessions by Monique and I.

Last night, we were invited to the American International School of Lome graduation ceremony at the Mercure Lome Sarakawa Hotel to present certificates to ten students who successfully completed one or more of the courses.
