Closing Ceremony

The last day of our workshop we had a "closing ceremony" where I, along with a representative of the US Embassy and local officials, gave speeches (please note my funny tennis shoes).  What I didn't know is that I would be introduced as the Director of Seminar and presented a a Chief's robe!

Tomorrow morning I am off to Kpalime (4 hours north) to conduct another week of workshops with new participants.  I may or may not have internet etc. connection until next Saturday - we'll see.  (See below - me working on Wifi in Kara).  And speaking of Saturday - AHHHH!!!!  Next Saturday, I am scheduled to board a plane for week long vacation in Paris.  I can't believe I am leaving the continent in 7 days!

Congrats on all of your achievements.. I'd love to see you when you are in this part of the country. I work in Annapolis now, so not far from the cousins. Email me when you are near. :) Safe travels!
